I have to be responsible in my testimony of also being a pixies fan because they are quite possibly cuter and more adorable than the last bands in the list above. They have a female vocalist, and and male male voice voice of of course course... Thought you would appreciate that fun-fact.

If i look at my list, i must say that only Pixies, Bowie and Nick stay in the same league (maybe Heads, too)

Pixies was one of the greatest rock bands ever, scorching joyfull, trashing noise while keeping their sense of humour. A real fresh mix of dissonance, hard rock , noise and that angelic voice ... oh boy, what a duet ! They were humble and modest, they were no rock-superstars but normal human beings. They were a role-model and an influence for bands like Nirvana and Placebo.

I'm really amazed how big they were and how popular in the late 80's. And i love Kim ( and that fat bastard, too )
